Country Club

A classic, humorous and timeless work of art by Annie Lee depicting what a country club looks like in a Black urban community.  Looks a little different on this side of town...lol. In this image you find people dancing, cooking out, gambling, playing music, listening to music and more!

The Alabama born and Chicago raised artist was known for featureless faces and the emotion and expression that radiated from the everyday people depicted in her work.
